Constructing Excellence (Plymouth Club) have organised a site visit to the final phase of the Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry's final new build dental school in the north of Plymouth.
The Peninsula Dental School is the third and final new build Dental School to be constructed in the south west following earlier phase builds in Plymouth Devonport and Truro.
The Dental School comprises a forty one chair Primary Care / Teaching facility with five groups of eight dental chairs arranged in open plan cluster formations. The building also provides shared student facilities such as meeting and seminar rooms for use by Medical School students based in the neighbouring John Bull Building.
The Architects Design Group will give a short presentation of the project and the key design principals. This will be followed by a tour of the building.
On site parking is available and will be sign posted on the day.
This tour is recommended for contractors and designers who are involved with education and healthcare projects.
This event commences at 5.00pm and will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Cost: £10 for non-members; Members free
